Carrapateena Community Consultation

OZ Minerals is currently developing an exploration decline under the conditions associated with a Retention Lease as granted under the South Australian Governments Mining Act 1971. This approval enables the development of the decline to the ore body. OZ Minerals will require a Mining Lease before they are able to continue development.

2016 Community Consultation

September

As a part of pre-lodgement workshops and consultation for the Mining Lease Proposal we recently conducted stakeholder engagement sessions in Woomera, Roxby Downs and Port Augusta in September 2016.

A copy of the presentation given at the community consultation in Roxby Downs, Woomera and Port Augusta can be found here.

An animation of the proposed Carrapateena project can be found here.

There will be ongoing community consultation sessions and these will be communicated via our website and Facebook.

OZ Minerals will soon be making formal submissions to the government on their developments and full copies of the documents will be made available here.

As always, we welcome your feedback. You can complete the Carrapateena Stakeholder Feedback Survey or email our Stakeholder Engagement Coordinator directly at debbie.alexander@ozminerals.com
