Our early pathway possibilities range from high school work experience to university graduate programs - demonstrating the wide range of development options on offer if you're looking for a diverse and flexible career with a Modern Mining Company.

Work Experience

If you're looking to gain real world experience while still in high school, our work experience program might be the thing for you!

With this program, you get to experience for yourself the many options available in a mining environment and open yourself up to career opportunities with OZ Minerals to support your work experience program.

Uni Scholarships

If you're considering Mining Engineering options, then you may be interested in applying for first and second year scholarships on offer.

We are offering students enrolling in Mining Engineering at the University of Adelaide, a two-year scholarship worth $10,000 each year of study.

Applications open in mid-October 2020 on the Playford Trust website. Learn more and apply!

Vacation Work

Want to get ahead during the summer vacation period with a paid work experience placement?

We offer vacation work so you get to experience what it's like to live and work on a mine site. This three-month placement will be at one of our Australian operational assets - Prominent Hill or Carrapateena.

Dates for this placement are open from 1 December to 28 February.

Honours Scholarship

If you want to take your studies to the next level, consider our OZ Minerals & Playford Trust Industry Honours Scholarship.

You will receive a $9,000 scholarship fund if you're looking to enrol in an Honours in Geoscience, Mining Engineering, or Chemical Engineering.

Applications are available at any of the three South Australian universities and are due to open in mid-October 2020. Learn more and apply!
